Centrex solution of Optima telecom

Short description of the company:

Optima telecom has, in their five years in business world, established itself as the second fixed telecommunication operator in Croatia. Telecommunication network of Optima is based on IP technology that provides greater networking through dominance of broadband networks and is present in more than 100 cities in Croatia. Current market potential of over half million connection supports over 2200 kilometers of fiber network, which could include with their length all continental board of Croatia. Using the latest technologies and global telecommunication solutions, Optima creates additional value on the Croatian fixed telephony market.

Challenges:

Optima telecom has establish itself on the market by offering services that are based on new technologies and solutions. With these services Optima offers their customers additional value, but also creates partnership with their customers. One of these services is Centrex.

Solution:

Centrex is a virtual home central for business customers. This solution replaces traditional home central, so now you can have your own home telephone network without expensive and unnecessary investment in equipment and maintenance. Besides that, Centrex is a one central for the company, regardless on how many locations the company is located. This leads to cost savings in communication between locations.

Advantage of this system is that it can be extended with additional functionalities as it is a call center. Implementation of this solution can be made in several steps and basic part is in integration with the softswitch solution and integration into the IP network through which the Optima telecom customers can connect to the system. Also, the main thing was to reduce the implementation costs but simultaneously offering short „time to market“. According to that it is installed required hardware infrastructure and with currently installed equipment, increasing of capacity brings to license upgrading. By implementation of this solution Optima telecom has received reliable platform which with their functionalities and characteristics make Optima more concurrent.

Avaya Communication Manager

STORM Informatika has implemented Avaya's solution Communication Manager, Avaya software for call management that beside necessary functionalities in combination with servers and gateways is characterized with high reliability. Great advantage of the system is that it can be extended with functionalities such as call center. Design of the solution and implementation has made STORM Informatika by itself and thus that it had become the first Avaya's partner in whole EMEA region that had implemented such solution by itself.
