Intelligent room functions
Access control and presence in the room
Micromaster makes room access control using the latest technologies as are chip-cards and transponders (contactless cards) and allows and records entrance of different levels of authorization. The key card has a unique code with timeout duration which guarantees maximum safety level. There are different categories of key card: guest, maid, waiter, technical staff, director, etc. System is „on-line“ what means that in case of entering the room these events are recorded and reported via control console in real time. Micromaster system beside control allows that via card reader and sensors of presence we know exactly who is in the room: guest, maid, waiter, maintenance or management.
Alarms
System manages over SOS alarms bathrooms, rooms and common areas. Also, system supports alarm; intrusion and flooding.
Air conditioning management
Intelligent control of temperature and devices for air treatment in rooms and common areas functions related to guest presence in the room, season and/or defined temperature timer profile. It is possible to manage with all types of devices as are classic radiators, Fan Coil, VRV systems and other thermal devices with functions On/Off.
Lighting control
Lighting can be controlled through setting one or three modes:
- Lighting works when guest is in the room
- Lighting permanently On
- Lighting permanently Off
When lighting operates in the first mode, leaving the room (taking the card), in function is only refrigerator.
Energy consumption
Energy consumption can be achieved through air conditioning, heating and lighting depending on guest presence in the room. Temperature levels in the rooms are:
- Room is empty (antifrost mode)
- Room is issued, but guest isn't in the room (reduced mode)
- Guest is in the room (comfort mode)
When the window is opened the air conditioning automatically turns off. When guest leave the room the lighting automatically turns off.
Service functions
System supports whole range of service functions that provide better communication to hotel staff, as are information if the room is cleaned, call to maid, function „Do not disturb“.
