Avaya's connections with telephony are reaching to the days when Alexander Graham Bell had established Bells Labs. Bells Labs later entered into AT&T system and when Lucent has separated from AT&T, Bells Labs have become an integral part of Lucent. When Lucent has splited into two parts: telecom equipment and equipment for companies (Enterprise), Bells Labs have been splited and that part which was connected with business telephony has finished in today's Avaya. So, today's Avaya's system more or less is derived from Bell's first solutions and that is a tradition that Avaya takes seriously.

Avaya in the field of telephony offers two levels of solutions:

  • Avaya Aura-for medium companies and enterprises
