STORM Grupa VIP business event
In Osijek, 25th and 26th October STORM Grupa has for the first time organized VIP business event and has presented to customers, in association with its partners, the latest technological solutions from the area of high technology and advanced business solutions.
The two-day business event, we have started with business discourses, where we have in collaboration with our partners Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft Croatia, presented to our customers an update on the cloud technology and new IT trends. Our partners from Hewlett-Packard have informed us with news and their vision of cloud network through a solution for reliable and efficient data protection and solution for faster and more agile IT, Virtual Application Network functionalities that makes easier to configure the infrastructure and improves and simplifies the management and operation of applications. Colleagues from Microsoft gave us information about new Office 365, a set of Microsoft services for communication and collaboration in cloud, the universal trend that initiate the future of productivity meeting the needs of organizations of all sizes.
By recognizing today's trends and with the aim to reduce operating costs and to increase the productivity of our customers, we are focused on developing the solutions for business improvement. Thereby we have introduced an offer of our own managed services that represent a set of services and solutions that enable our customers' assurance of quality and high availability of IT services. As a main backbone in communication with customers, we have emphasized the contact centers in cloud. We have presented three approaches to the organization and advantage of implementation of contact center in SaaS (Software as a service) model. Also, we presented the news in data storage BaaS (Backup as a service), where we pointed out the problems and limitations of traditional backup system and their need for segregation to outside the organization with the aim in facilitating the internal IT systems.
Final part of business discourses we ended with the theme of security. Identifying several security challenges we have represented the importance of secure access to the cloud and security of e-mail cloud services. Also, the importance of physical security of cloud infrastructure and general physical security within organizations, STORM Grupa has presented through its own solution Supracontrol-system for access control and supervision of working conditions in the telecommunication and server racks and data centers.
