Avaya bought RADVISION
Avaya has signed an agreement to acquire RADVISION, a leading provider of videoconference and TelePresence technologies via IP and wireless networks.
By this acquisition, Avaya will provide customers highly integrated and interoperable suite of affordable, easy-to-use HD video collaboration products that work on mobile devices, including Apple iPad and Google Android. RADVISION portfolio includes full range of videoconference products, technologies and knowledge that serve to small and large enterprises and service providers. RADVISION's SCOPIA video product line and knowledge integrated with open architecture of Avaya Aura will bridge existing H-323 communication networks and SIP-based environments, delivering scalability and user experience designed to be intuitive and easy-to-use. This acquisition underlines Avayas' quote „The Power of We“ and brings to each customers opportunity for faster collaboration, smarter decision making and better business results.
